Through a series of oil portraits and some drawings, I try to reflect on Life.
To the fact that often in spite of ourselves, life goes on, hair grows and flowers continue to bloom.. And even if we untangle our hair every morning, a gust of wind untangles us in an instant and makes us feel alive…
I think that during life we remember instead of learning and what we remember every day brings us inexorably closer to death. And that as long as we are not dead, we must make sure that someone always thinks of us, because if we exist, it is because someone does.
And as Proust wrote « Let’s be grateful to the people who make us happy. They are the gardeners who make our soul bloom.”
